Reminiscence by Mikami Cannon

Here's some Mikami Cannon, which means awesome character designs, decent setting and story, and as always, really good H scenes. I actually don't know what issue of COMIC Kairakuten Beast this is from; I got the raws off of e-hentai.

I wanted to get this done in time for the 4th, 'cause of the fireworks, but somewhere along the line, I decided to make a couple of the pages into a self imposed editor's challenge. Hopefully it was worth the extra effort.

My Little Sister's a Bitch by Juan Gotoh

Juan Gotoh's new oneshot from this month's (Aug. '09) COMIC Masyo. In the artists' comments section in the back of the issue, he mentions that it's his first time using a little sister character. Kinda hard to believe, but a quick look through the hard drive says that's right. Nice to see a little something different.

There's even an awesome Touhou meme awesomely included.

Childhood's End - Book 1 by Juan Gotoh

FINALLY! Couple more months and it would have been a full year since this was released. Huge thanks, big ups, much respek goes to UchoFan1 for getting ahold of a hard copy and scanning it in. He's a member of the shochan.org community so be sure to give him props if you see him over there.

All right: Childhood's End, the long awaited spin-off of Boys' Empire. The story revolves around Umeko's twins, Ichigo and Kyouichi, Masato and Makoto's kids respectively. [insert way too easy to make joke about the Tamura family tree being a stump here]. For me at least, this was well worth the excruciating, agonizing wait. Twincest is wincest, Umeko makes a cameo and the dot-matrix hair color that everyone loved before makes a return.

Poker Face in Love by Yukishiro Yoshi

This one's from the April issue of COMIC Megastore. I usually browse through the likes of Megastore, Tenma, Hotmilk, etcetc to see if there's anything I'd like to sic my photoshop on. Character designs were what grabbed my attention on this one. Nothing hotter than a healthy meganekko who likes to sport some zettai ryouiki. Ending on a funny note always helps, too.

I'm a Trap by Juan Gotoh

Just in time for April Fool's day, the newest Gotoh oneshot from the May issue of Masyo features a trap. I was originally going to title this as "I'm a Trap", but that would have been taking too much of a license with the literal "ボクは男の娘". The kanji used for the "ko" in "otokonoko" (boy) is actually another reading of "musume" (girl). So, I figured "Pretty Boy" would be a better trade off.

anyway, tl;dr, I'm an idiot who didn't do enough research, happy April Fool's day.
